Cook PositionCareCore at Lakeridge is seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our dietary team. This role plays a key part in providing quality meals and a positive dining experience for our residents.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary guidelinesEnsure food is prepared, served, and stored safelyFollow all sanitation and infection control standardsMaintain proper food temperatures and complete required logsAssist with kitchen organization, cleaning, and inventoryWork collaboratively with dietary team and nursing staffQualificationsPrevious cooking experience required, healthcare or LTC preferredKnowledge of therapeutic diets (mechanical soft, purees, etc.) preferredServSafe certification preferredStrong attention to detail and food safety standardsReliable and team-orientedScheduleRotating weekends and holidaysBenefits (for eligible employees)Health, Dental, VisionPTO and Holiday Pay401(k) with Company MatchSupportive team environmentJoin a team that takes pride in serving great food and making a difference in residents’ daily lives.
