Customer Service RepresentativeIn compliance with established policies and procedures, the CSR performs a variety of high-quality customer service functions. The position is responsible for providing financial institution products and services to customers to fulfill their financial needs. Some daily functions include answering questions about United's products and services, actively selling products and services in a courteous and professional manner, and representing the bank in a positive way at all times.What You'll DoProvide exceptional service to meet customers and prospective customer's banking needsSupport existing customer relationships and maintain class-leading customer service relationsProvide account guidance including suggestions and other necessary informationProvide customers with account information and updates; answer policy questions accuratelyEnsure all accounts are opened in accordance with established policies and procedures, records are maintained accurately, and accounts are entered on the bank's computer systemMaintain a thorough knowledge of all banking products and servicesActively sell products and services based on United's needs-based approachUtilize tact and professionalism to resolve customer complaintsOpen and maintain deposit accounts such as Individual Retirement Accounts and Certificates of DepositMay be responsible for ordering job-related suppliesAnswer customer inquiriesAssist other staff in serving customers, answering telephones and performing other duties as necessaryFill out disputes and perform research on debit cards as well as order and hot card debit cardsPerform some file maintenanceRequirements For SuccessHigh School diploma or equivalentSuccessful completion of in-house training programInterpersonal skills necessary to relate to and empathize with othersGood oral and written communication skills, as well as good selling skillsExperience in sales preferredAbility to maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor throughout the workdayAbility to operate bank software programsOperation of standard office equipmentProficient keyboarding skillsThorough knowledge of financial institution products and servicesThis position may require back-up to various retail banking rolesParticipate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.Conditions of EmploymentMust be able to pass a criminal background & credit check.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYThis position has no direct reports.WORK ENVIRONMENTLocation in United FootprintPOSITION TYPEThis is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.TRAVELThis position requires up to 10% travel.OTHERWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Pay RangeUSD $18.56 - USD $20.52 /Hr.
