Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leaderWe pioneer technology for mobility experience that matter to people.Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesPosition Summary :The role of an Autonomous Production Unit (UAP) Manager is to manage the effective operation of the UAP team, as well as HR issues for team members. Responsibilites:Follow production plans, as well as Group standard processes; assure feasibility of production plansAchieve financial targets: prepare and present the UAP budget; manage the actual production costs based on “ideal” costs; maintain product margin, and monitor serial productivity (labor level, material consumption, etc)Manage the UAP team: assure appropriate staffing, maintain working environment according to Group Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards; detect and advise training needs; share information (transparency); participate in career management initiatives, etc.Implement action plans to improve functionality/productivity and to obtain program and Group objectives; make necessary corrective adjustmentsCoordinate resource planning with Industrial Engineering department concerning stocks, equipment, staffing, activities, etc.Maintain dashboard indicators/status reports to monitor lead time, supply-chain targets, HSE performance, etc.Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the companyParticipate in training to understand and improve skills related to Faurecia Company Vision for Value Creation and Code of EthicsYour profile and competencies to succeedMinimum Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have the following education/experience:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management preferred (Master’s degree in Engineering with a specialization in Production would be preferred)At least five years of experience in an industrial environment (ideally in the automotive industry)Three to five years team management experienceOperational knowledge of Production methods (Kanban, 5S, Hoshin, TPM, GPAO)Good knowledge of Program standards, tool and methodsAbove average communication skills and interpersonal skillsVisa sponsorship is not available for this position now or in the future.#FORVIA2026 What we can do for youAt Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies.
