Non-QM Mortgage Scenario Analyst

Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Non‑QM Mortgage Scenario Analyst to evaluate complex borrower scenarios and determine eligibility for non‑QM loan products. This role serves as a critical liaison between loan originators, account executives, underwriting teams, mortgage brokers and institutional investors by providing timely and accurate scenario analysis, guideline interpretations, and product recommendations. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of non‑QM guidelines, alternative income documentation methods, and mortgage pricing. They thrive in a fast‑paced environment and are passionate about helping originators and borrowers structure loans that meet investor and company requirements. Key Responsibilities Review and analyze borrower scenarios for non‑QM mortgage products. Assist Account Executives and Loan Officers with pre‑submission loan structuring. Identify potential underwriting challenges and recommend solutions prior to file submission. Interpret and communicate complex lending guidelines, overlays, and investor requirements. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of non‑QM products, investor matrices, and market trends. Collaborate with underwriting, operations, secondary marketing, and product teams to resolve guideline questions. Participate in product rollouts, training initiatives, and process improvement projects. Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in non‑QM mortgage lending, underwriting, credit analysis or scenario desk. Strong understanding of non‑QM residential loan products, including DSCR loans. Knowledge of other commercial mortgages, such as rehab, construction and commercial loans is helpful. Familiar with mortgage credit, income calculation, asset analysis, and risk assessment. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of secondary market and investor‑specific overlays. Bachelor’s degree is required.
