Nuclear Medicine Technologist
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience, particularly in Nuclear Cardiology, and be comfortable working with a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Familiarity with EPIC charting is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MUGA scans, SPECT scans, and stress studies (exercise and pharmacological, including Lexiscan).
- Maintain and handle radioactive materials safely.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members, including Rapid Response Teams and Pharmacy.
- Document findings accurately using EPIC electronic charting.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Valid CNMT certification.
- BLS certification required.
- CA state license must be held at the time of submission.
- Experience with adult patients and knowledge of nuclear cardiology is highly preferred.
