Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and skilled First & Second Shift Welders / Fitters to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise welding and fitting operations on various metal materials, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and safety standards. This position offers an energetic environment where your mechanical knowledge and fabrication expertise will directly contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced setting.
Qualification Requirements:
- Experience with metal fabrication
- Must be able to read/interpret P&ID’s, schematics, engineered drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude required
- Relevant experience includes assembly of components
- Must be proficient with regards to ASME B31.3 Code requirements
- Will be required to demonstrate welding proficiency: pulse MIG, STT, TIG, X-Ray, etc.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Fabrication of pressure vessels, structural skids, piping, etc.
- Joining, fabricating, and repairing metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
- Laying out and fabricating precision welds and elements from blueprints and engineering concepts
- Welding to ASME code and 100% x-ray
- Inspecting completed welds to determine structural soundness
- Working independently or as part of a team while making sound decisions and solving technical problems
- Performing all job duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Performing other functions/duties as required
