About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 6 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:15 - 06:45) Experience: 1 year of medical-surgical experience required. Long-term Acute Care/Skilled Nursing Facility experience accepted. License: Must have a valid RN license in hand. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: 1 year of medical-surgical experience required. Long-term Acute Care/Skilled Nursing Facility experience accepted. Floating required. First-time travelers accepted. Every other weekend required. Floating required. Pending licenses not accepted. 7 days maximum for time off requests. Description: Experience in managing patients in rehabilitation settings is essential. Candidate will float to other units as needed. Nurse will coordinate patient care, including tracheostomy care and management, with available respiratory therapy support. Candidate must be proficient in non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, and peripheral line care/management. Unit ratios will be 1 nurse for every 5-7 patients. Capacity for block scheduling is not available. This position requires willingness to work weekends. All applicants must ensure their licenses are current and without issues. It is crucial for the traveler’s legal first and last name to be used when submitting profiles for the background check and badge process. The job requires versatility and a collaborative approach to patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. Travel experience is preferred, but less than 2 years of experience might be accepted. Modules will be required and will vary by profession.
