Interventional Radiology Technologist - Newark, New Jersey

Schedule Options:

• Four 10-hour shifts (9:00 AM - 7:30 PM), or five 8-hour shifts (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Rotating call: One night per week (7:00 PM - 6:30 AM), plus one weekend every four weeks (Friday 7:00 PM - Monday 6:30 AM)
• Must reside or relocate temporarily within 30 minutes from the facility to fulfill call responsibilities

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Active ARRT (R) certification required at the time of application
• BLS and ACLS certifications (both required by start date-confirmation of willingness to obtain if not already held)
• NJ State Radiography License (can apply prior to obtaining; expect 1-2 weeks for processing)
• Demonstrated proficiency in interventional radiology techniques
• Compliance with all vaccination requirements: two COVID-19 vaccines, one booster, and annual influenza vaccine-no medical/religious exemptions or declinations permitted

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures with precision and care
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and optimal image quality
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Proactively monitor patients' conditions during procedures and respond to clinical needs
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and regulatory requirements
