VP, Software Developer - Prime Services Risk (.NET)

Salary: $185,000 - 225,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong, recent working knowledge of C#, WPF, WinForms, and SQL, including coding business logic in SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Familiarity with test-driven development and related tools
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
• Experience with trading or order management systems
• Experience with trade risk and client-versus-firm risk
• Understanding of asset classes such as equities, options, fixed income, and swaps
• Understanding of margin rules and procedures
• Professional experience with equities and swaps
• At least 10 years of programming experience
• At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science; an advanced degree is a plus
• Financial knowledge is helpful but not mandatory
• Additional relevant experience includes market data, order management systems, swaps, buy-side outsourced trading concepts, trade settlement, and Omgeo CTM

• Develop our global back-office system for the Prime Services Swaps Desk
• Expand the swaps platform across regions and product types
• Provide day-to-day application and trading-desk support
• Communicate directly with Swaps, Operations, Middle Office, Connectivity, and internal technology teams
• Develop and support order management and real-time profit-and-loss systems
• Support internal and external clients in a client-facing software development role
