Position Summary An Andretti Game Tech is a part‑time role responsible for anticipating guest needs and exceeding guest‑service expectations while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions assist guests in various areas, in many capacities, and follow Andretti Indoor Karting & Games high standards of quality and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner. Anticipate and respond to guests with a sense of urgency. Perform repairs on games and explain operation of games to guests. Maintain inventory of electronics, game parts, tools, etc. Document game issues, parts, and work history properly. Work independently as a self‑starter. Perform preventative maintenance on all aspects of the games, simulators, and attractions. Use comfort with AV systems including movie sound, mobile video, projectors and control systems. Use/Read a volt/ohmmeter and soldering gun. Read schematics. Stock and maintain inventory of all prize games. Basic knowledge of computer systems and some general point‑of‑sale operations. Rudimentary knowledge of troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals. Ensure all games are clean and presentable to guests. Observe, instruct, and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence. Assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive guest experiences. Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and coworkers. Work as a team player to meet guests’ needs and actively contribute to other departments. Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions. Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Andretti policies and procedures. Know facility emergency procedures. Perform opening, running, and closing department duties as assigned. Adhere to proper uniform guidelines according to Andretti. Show eagerness to learn new skills and trades. Skills & Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat, and sociable throughout the workday. Ability to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
