What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general questions, and completing detailed incident and activity reports before the end of each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
