The nurse will work 4x12 hour night shifts. The role requires experience handling a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 in a high-volume unit. Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring and responding to rapid response or code situations. The nurse will manage various patient care tasks including central line care, blood product administration, and wound care. Experience in managing patients with complex diagnoses such as orthopedic overflow and long-term care is essential. The nurse will be responsible for care management including IV starts, feeding tube management, and respiratory support. Floating to other areas may be required. Candidates must have experience with EPIC charting.
