About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: NIHSS assessment Experience working in an Emergency Department Description: Emergency Department with 30 beds. Staffed by Charge RNs, Paramedics, PCTs, and NEs. Patient ratios of 1:4. Equipped with Pyxis, GE Monitors, Zoll defibrillators, Welch Allyn, and Dynamap vital signs machines. EMR is Meditech. Typical procedures include IV starts, EKGs, trauma, cardiac, and stroke management. Ideal candidates are motivated, easy-going, friendly, and team players. Self-scheduling is available, requiring four weekend shifts per month, with two consecutive weekend days. The facility is recognized for its culture and strong managerial support. The area features rich history and amenities including live events and a vibrant dining scene. The community is known for various recreational and cultural activities.
