Your New Role: Supervises day-to-day operations within the warehouse, ensuring the goods are received, stored, and distributed efficiently and safely. Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise warehouse functions and warehouse staff providing support and direction for daily traffic schedules and improvement related projects. Facilitate all HR related information for warehouse staff including certifications, licensing, timecards, disciplinary actions, and reviews. Administer and verify vehicle licensing, maintenance and upkeep and ensure only approved personnel operate company equipment. Including tracking GOEX trucks/trailer’s locations. Demonstrate in depth knowledge and understanding of GOEX policies and procedures that relate to material identification, storage, and movements. Including inventory management practices as they relate to efficient and accurate movement, storage and tracking of all materials and execute them proficiently. Facilitate and manage inventory cycle counts on a minimum monthly basis for all materials in the warehouse. Including raw materials, regrind, packaging items (skids, and cores). Update and provide raw material adjustments to necessary departments. Manage and assist with month end close inventory counts and discrepancy of materials from finance and other departments. Including finished goods. Develop and implement, with management approval, continuous improvements to optimize warehouse utilization, safety, inventory control, and traffic efficiency, to maintain company initiatives. Oversee and verify accuracy of all paperwork completed by warehouse personnel for dispatches, GRNs and other job duties. Ensure adherence to quality policies throughout warehouse and by warehouse staff and others within the organization. Provide monthly reports as requested summarizing weekly activity of warehouse and warehouse personnel with direction from the department management. Monitor and facilitate ongoing training for warehouse personnel. Including updating and creating training and procedures/work instructions. Understand and be able to perform the duties and responsibilities of warehouse staff. Ability to Train the Trainer for fork truck certifications for GOEX. Be intermediary between warehouse staff and shipping/receiving department for questions with shipping and receiving. Assist Shipping/Receiving department staff as needed for backup to coordinate all shipments (standard or expedited) to support corporate on-time shipment and freight cost objectives. Including providing domestic and international freight pricing for quoting purposes, including routing, detailed cost breakdowns and competitive analysis as requested. Assist GOEX satellite locations as necessary. Responsible for understanding the food safety hazards of their job and following the employee GMPs and other procedures to ensure food safety Other duties as assigned. Your hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm - must have flexibility to provide support to a 24/7 facility. What you need: Associates degree or equivalent education and experience 3+ years in Warehouse Supervision Excellent organizational skills Ability to lead and manage others. Proficient with computers and the use of information systems relating to inventory management and production data, Including Microsoft programs, ie Excel and Word Willingness to work as part of a team Must possess valid driver’s license What's in it for you: As a full-time GOEX employee you’ll be competitively compensated, based on experience.
