Material Flow Supervisor – Stanley Access Technologies, Greenfield, IN Stanley Access Technologies is an industry leader in the manufacturing, installation, and servicing of automatic doors. This role supports our expanding service business by ensuring efficient material flow within the warehouse and production floor. Job Summary The Material Flow Supervisor plans, organizes, and controls warehouse and production floor activities to maximize productivity across shifts. Responsibilities include managing material flow from receiving through to point of use, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting cycle counting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Recommend improvements to reduce cost and drive productivity within the department while achieving site‑specific goals. Supervise all phases of warehouse, shipping/receiving, and material movement operations. Maintain inventory and product loss control; ensure safety and operational guidelines are met. Support cycle count standard work goals with the objective of achieving cycle count certification. Issue inventory reports, including accuracy and cycle count metrics. Implement and enforce standard work across the functions. Drive continuous improvement activities in all functional areas. Provide supervision of assigned employees in scheduling and daily activities; manage selection, retention, feedback, disciplinary action, and performance management. Organize activities and assign jobs to meet business needs. Establish and monitor employee work schedules. Train and instruct employees on work responsibilities. Enforce policies related to direct reports. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving problems. Ensure warehouse and material storage areas are clean and organized. Coordinate activities with other supervisors and departments. Motivate staff to form an effective and efficient team. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Demonstrated ability to lead line process activities. Capable of making quality decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Solid understanding of warehouse process strategies. Experience supporting lean flow processes on the shop floor. Effective resource management across multiple disciplines. Proactive change agent with leadership skills to build and maintain a team‑oriented culture. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service orientation with dedication to internal customer requirements. Organization and multitasking ability. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate staff. Problem‑solving ability and resourcefulness. Certifications in Production and Inventory Management are desirable. Versatile familiarity with operating warehouse equipment and related certifications. Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or equivalent ERP, and Microsoft Office products. Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or a related field preferred. High school diploma required. 1–3 years of experience in integrated manufacturing functions. Understanding of rate‑based or flow line and job shop manufacturing environments.
