Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend and holiday required. No on-call is necessary.

Assignment Details

Patient ratios are 1:5 for Medsurg, 1:5-6 for Swing Bed, and 1:3-4 for Progressive Care Unit (PCU) based on the level of care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Illinois
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a blended Medsurg and Swing Bed Program.
• Assess patient conditions and administer appropriate medical interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in unit committees to promote engagement and safety.
