Marposs Group is a global leader providing measurement, inspection and testing cutting edge solutions for quality and process control in the workshop environment, serving all major automotive and machine tools manufacturers, as well as the aerospace, biomedical, electronics, energy, glass containers and white goods sectors.In order to reinforce our growth plans in North America, Marposs Corporation has an opening for a Sales Engineer.Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, the position will have account responsibility for major machine tool probing and monitoring products/systems manufacturers and distributors in CaliforniaResponsibilitiesSells CNC-related solutions including precision measurement, gauging, and process control equipment, requiring strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, automation, and manufacturing efficiency.Calls management representatives, such as engineers, technical personnel, and management at commercial, industrial, and other establishments in an attempt to convince prospective client of desirability and practicability of products offeredProvides technical advice on company products and services, modifications, applications, design, and other problemsPrepares sales related reports and provides data for forecasting sales, competition, and market conditionsProvides survey information on products, competition, and specific topicsConducts special promotions on specific products.What we are looking forPreferred bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical EngineeringPrevious experience with CNC programming, PLC, and schematics with respect to CNC and Machine Tool Industry preferred5-7 years' experience in sales for the Manufacturing IndustryExcellent sales, interpersonal skills, and presentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProblem solver with hands-on experienceExtensive travel is required.A good driving record is essential.What we offerMarposs offers an inclusive and international environment with strong professional and career development opportunities.
