PCB Tool Specialist for AI Research

PCB tools specialists apply hands-on electronics design experience to evaluate AI-generated content and improve how AI handles PCB layout, schematic capture, embedded hardware design, and EDA workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated electronics design content and provide detailed feedback.
• Develop domain-specific prompts and assess large language model responses.
• Use practical experience in PCB layout, schematic capture, or embedded hardware design to support AI research.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ year of work experience using one or more relevant tools, including LibrePCB, KiCAD, Ngspice, Qucs-S, LTspcie, PCB tools, or related technical tools.
• Ability to work asynchronously with AI research teams.

Work Terms

• Remote, part-time, independent contractor engagement.
• Work independently on an asynchronous schedule from your location.
• Flexible hours with no minimum hourly commitment.
• Project assignment depends on project availability, and additional project opportunities may become available over time.

Compensation

Up to $125/hr (depending on the project).

Eligibility

• F-1 students eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects.
• Consult your Designated School Official to confirm eligibility. If your school requires a CPT course, this engagement may not meet your school''s requirements.
• STEM OPT is not supported.
