Location Alexandria, VA (fully in-person required) Work Hours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6:00 AM –2:30 PM; Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM Pay Rate The pay rate is $27.88/hour, 40 hours a week. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Life and Disability coverage Paid vacation and sick time Paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Continuing education reimbursements Performance bonuses Commuter pre-tax benefits Fitness retailers discount programs 401k plan with company match Monday to Friday schedule, no weekend work Responsibilities To make recommendations and assist in the formulation of fitness center policies and plans To supervise and monitor exercise participants, perform exercise assessments, and exercise prescription To teach group fitness movement classes Conduct personal fitness training sessions with members of fitness center To assist with selection and supervision of group fitness instructor Supervise exercise areas Educate members concerning safe exercise techniques Perform exercise assessments and prescribe exercise upon American College of Sports Medicine guidelines Conduct safe and effective assessments including cardiovascular, strength, flexibility and body composition analysis; evaluate and interpret data and identify high risk participants and special populations Aid members - spotting and equipment usage Explain all equipment Ensure the maintenance, cleanliness and safety of all equipment Adhere to departmental and club policies and procedures Adhere to client’s policies and procedures Attend staff meetings #J-18808-Ljbffr AQUILA
