Selects from alternatives; solves routine and emerging problems. Owns outcomes in a defined area.Maintain coating manufacturing equipment with logs/schedules/spare parts/etc to eliminate downtimeCoordinate PM schedules with engineering and materials supervisorAssist in other areas of facilities as required with facilities supervisorPerform weekly preventive maintenance on vacuum deposition systems following established schedules and intervalsReplace coating components and other critical partsDisassemble reactor chambers and ensure the external rework and refurbishment process is properly managed and controlledInspect and document equipment condition before and after maintenanceEnsure strict adherence to safety protocols, particularly when handling and installing coating precursorsFollow best practices in vacuum technology and cleanroom proceduresAssist in identifying, responding to, and resolving tool-related emergencies to minimize equipment downtimeCollaborate closely with process engineers, operations, and EHS teamsContribute to continuous improvement of PM procedures and system reliabilityQualifications2 years of experience as a maintenance technician preferably in a manufacturing environmentMust have ability to use a variety of mechanical tools and use electronic test equipment.Must be organized and keep accurate records.Must have experience with handling hazardous materials and using proper safety protocols (ex: pyrophoric)Must communicate and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.Will be expected to interface effectively with supervision and work in a team based environment.Must be comfortable using PC's and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.May be required to lift moderately heavy instruments (up to 50 lbs) on a weekly basis and must have a reasonable level of manual dexterity. Additional Information INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%.
