Speech Language Pathologist in Dover, PA

The ideal professional will hold both a Pennsylvania SLP Certificate and a Teaching Certificate, with experience or interest in school-based speech services.


Key Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania SLP Certification required
• Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate required (must submit with resume)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience in K-12 educational settings highly valued
• Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver on-site speech-language pathology services to a diverse student population across district schools (no virtual work at this time)
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with measurable goals
• Provide direct speech and language therapy, both individual and group sessions
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other school staff to maximize student outcomes
• Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal education regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
