Cohen Business Law Group is a boutique Los Angeles law firm representing entrepreneurs, technology companies, online businesses, and established companies in general business law, business litigation, corporate, intellectual property, and internet law matters.

We are seeking a strong attorney with meaningful experience in business litigation and related business law matters who is looking for substantive responsibility, direct client interaction, and hands-on involvement in sophisticated matters without the bureaucracy of a large firm.

This position offers the opportunity to work directly with the firm leaders on a broad range of litigation, transactional, and strategic advisory matters. The role includes significant responsibility for handling litigation matters including motions, pleadings, discovery, contracts, settlement discussions, settlement agreements, corporate documents, and client communications, as well as court hearings, negotiations, trial preparation and trial.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer, practical thinker, and self-directed professional who is comfortable managing cases and assignments, communicating with clients, and operating in a collaborative small-firm environment. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, exercises sound judgment, and wants to continue developing as both a lawyer and trusted advisor.

Candidates should have:

- Active California Bar license in good standing (required)

- Strong legal writing and analytical skills (required)

- Experience with business litigation and/or business transactional matters (required)

- Ability to manage deadlines and communicate professionally with clients and counsel (required)

- Meaningful experience drafting motions, discovery, contracts, and related legal documents (required)

Experience with intellectual property, internet law, privacy, technology, e-commerce, or online business matters is a plus, but not required.

This position is primarily on-site in our Los Angeles office near UCLA. We are a collaborative firm that values responsiveness, professionalism, mentorship, and high-quality work product.

Compensation is expected to range from approximately $130,000 to $160,000+, depending on experience, capabilities, and potential contribution to the firm. Bonus and origination opportunities may also be available for the right candidate.
