Regal Staffing is hiring Blasting Operators for a manufacturing company in Arlington, TX 76011!

Location: Arlington, TX 76011
Position: Blasting Operator
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Blasting Operators are responsible for cleaning and preparing metal parts for proprietary surface-enhancement coatings. Operators use abrasive blast equipment to remove rust, scale, old coatings, and oil while preparing metal surfaces to meet strict aerospace, defense, and industrial specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate abrasive blast cabinets and automated blasting systems.
• Prepare metal components by removing rust, scale, oil, and existing coatings.
• Set up and adjust equipment according to work orders and technical instructions.
• Safely load, secure, and unload metal parts before and after blasting.
• Perform visual and gauge inspections to verify cleanliness and surface requirements.
• Maintain blast pots, hoppers, nozzles, and dust collection systems.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and tool maintenance.
• Follow all required PPE, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Previous blasting, painting, coating, manufacturing, or industrial experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
• Ability to safely handle metal parts and operate industrial equipment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to wear all required PPE and follow plant safety procedures.
