THE ROLE:  In this customer-focused role, you will be working with the world’s leading AI & HPC GPUs being designed for large Data Center clusters for the leading Cloud Service Providers and AI companies in the world. You will be working directly with key external OEM partners, Cloud Service Providers, and end-customers, as well as AMD field application teams, internal development teams, and other stakeholders to bring a portfolio of next-generation Server and Rack offerings to market using AMD’s Instinct™ Accelerators and support them post-production. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Manage technical interaction with OEM/ODM Partners to enable deployment of AMD Instinct™ Accelerators in Partner systems.Support Partners in the bring-up and validation of AMD Instinct™ GPUs in their system, guide partners on use of AMD tools, qualification test methods, and analysis of test results.Lead the debug of Partner/Customer issues (HW, firmware, driver), working with a cross-functional team and driving the root cause investigation.Work with Partners on the development of manufacturing/screen tests to ensure reliability at scale.Understand Partner requirements and schedule, identify gaps in AMD offering and work with other stakeholders to close them.Author design guideline, technical presentations, and training material.Provide recommendation to improve customer experience with our SW and HW.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  Programming/scripting skills (e.g., C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python).  Debug techniques and methodologies Experience with common lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.  Experience with board/platform-level debug, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimization Knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategies ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:  Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering LOCATION:Austin, TXThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#LI-SL2#LI-HYBRIDBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
