Live-In Caregiver OpportunityRight at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire a Live-In Caregiver to join a dynamic care team providing clinical expertise in-home. The ideal candidate is compassionate, trustworthy, service minded, a team player, who strives to always do the right thing.We believe that our caregivers are the heart of our business. Without you, we couldn't build meaningful relationships with our clients, put a smile on their face or be the highlight of their day.In taking this position, our Live-In Caregiver would receive:A great work environmentCompetitive pay with direct depositWeekly payTraining and ongoing development programsRecognition programs - including Caregiver of the MonthAflac insurance opportunities401K retirement plan with a company matchStarting salary $248.30 per day (overtime if applicable)$500 sign on bonus for HHA and PCA, $300 sign on bonus for caregivers without certification (must work 90 days)Live-In Caregiver Responsibilities:Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to): personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)Ambulation/TransfersDressing/ShavingPrepares meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompany patient on errands or medical appointments.Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroomPerforms patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to): medication reminders, assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises, measuring and preparing special diets, understanding dementia care, incontinence careRequirements for Live-In Caregiver:High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferredValid Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide Certificate is preferredOne year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities)Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the jobPossess a valid driver's license and insured automobile is preferred
