Responsibilities may include:Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)Providing personal care, bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistanceAssisting with mobility and transfers as appropriateProviding medication reminders as directedPreparing meals and assisting with light housekeepingProviding companionship and emotional supportObserving and reporting changes in a client's conditionMaintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable home environmentSupporting clients in maintaining their dignity, independence, and quality of lifeHHA RequirementsCurrent New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification requiredAt least 1 year of professional HHA experienceMust be authorized to work in the United StatesValid driver's license preferredReliable transportation strongly preferredDependable, compassionate, and professional approach to patient careRequired Health DocumentationApplicants must have current health documentation, including:Physical examination completed within the past 12 monthsPPD or QuantiFERON test completed within the past year, or a chest X-ray completed within the last 5 yearsMMR immunization documentation within the last 10 yearsWork Close to Home.
