Davies is hiring a full‑time Advanced Manufacturing Instructor! Qualifications RI Teacher Certification: CTE Entry-level Machinist/Manufacturing or certificate eligible Five years of relevant work experience Teaching experience preferred Master’s degree preferred Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be appropriate and acceptable Essential Duties / Responsibilities Develop and implement an effective Advanced Manufacturing program, including theory and labs that facilitate meaningful learning in the core competencies of the curriculum Maintain student record, including grades, attendance, and performance measures that assess and improve student learning Foster a safe and productive learning environment Facilitate program advisory board meetings Support student career readiness and Work-Based Learning experiences Maintain knowledge of best practices in and current industry standards Perform other duties as assigned Skills & Understanding Required Communicates and collaborates effectively with students, families, and colleagues Know and understand industry recognized credentials and industry standards Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Terms of Employment Salary: Step salary, as defined in the Davies Teachers’ Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.
