Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced neuroscience spine unit. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while utilizing a team nursing model that includes RNs, LPNs, and Nursing Assistants (NAs).Shift InformationSchedule: 3x12 hour shiftsShift: Night (19:00 - 07:30)Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend rotationHoliday Rotation: Yes, holidays are rotatedPatient Care DetailsUnit Capacity: 45-bed Neuroscience Spine UnitNeuro Progressive Care Unit (NPCU) with a 1:3 patient ratioUtilization of ceiling lifts, ICP monitoring, and cardiac monitoring in the NPCUContinuous EEG and lumbar drainage system capabilitiesQualificationsMinimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical Neuro experience requiredCurrent Minnesota state RN license required (not a compact state)Basic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredNIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification requiredJob ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care, ensuring safety and comfortCollaborate with team members to deliver optimal care to patientsParticipate in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plansUtilize rapid response teams as neededAssist with patient education on treatment plans and recovery processesAdditional InformationRequirement to float to other like units to meet facility needsDaily census typically ranges between 37-42 patientsInterdisciplinary support available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social servicesIf you are a passionate Registered Nurse with experience in Medical Surgical Neuro care and thrive in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.Client Details City Saint Cloud State MN
