Position Overview

This is a night shift position with guaranteed hours at a healthcare facility specializing in stroke and brain care. The shift runs from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Unit Information

• Unit Name: Stroke & Brain
• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Staffing Description: Staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability.
• Tech Type of Equipment: Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady Lift, Telemetry, Bladder Scanner, Doppler
• Documentation System: Meditech

Scheduling Requirements

• 3 shifts per week
• 3-4 weekend shifts

Floating Policy

Agency and contract staff may be floated to any area where they have demonstrated competency, as per contract allowances.

Patient Experience Requirements

• Telemetry experience
• Stroke experience

Hospital Specifics

• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Requested Skill Set: Cardiac drips, telemetry, and neurology experience
• Advanced Skills Needed: Cardiac drips, basic dysthythmia
• Procedures Performed on Unit: None specific

Dress Code

The required uniform is navy blue.
