Alaska Teaching Position
This is a role that is very much needed for the people of Alaska. Teaching position only. You are based and living in Nome. You are teaching native residents how to act as a Health Aide in remote villages. Teaching them seeing patients in emergent situations, acute situations, well child and EMT type skills Monday - Friday Typically 8 - 5 (might be some extra hours in the beginning of tenure) Compensation and benefits Hourly wage of $87 - $97 DOE Comprehensive benefit plan $20,000 sign on bonus Substantial retention bonus Relocation up to $15,000 $6,000 CME CME time off NHSC Loan Repayment: This position is at a National Health Service Corps (NHSC)-approved site. Providers here may qualify for up to $75,000 in tax-free federal student-loan repayment over a 2-year full-time commitment. Award amounts depend on the annual application cycle and your eligibility.
