About the Position

Job Title

RN (Registered Nurse) – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Peoria, IL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday with rotating Saturday call (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization, arteriograms, electrophysiology studies, and other specialized procedures under sterile technique
• Prepare examination areas and position patients appropriately for procedures
• Operate complex radiology and cardiac imaging equipment in accordance with established techniques and protocols
• Pass materials and support physicians throughout procedures as directed
• Provide age-appropriate patient care and demonstrate knowledge of patient populations served
• Participate in a department running 2 procedure rooms with a daily volume of approximately 5–10 procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license required , or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• Must comply with a drug-free workplace policy and produce a negative drug screen for all panels
• Candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility will be subject to a local pay rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology setting
• Familiarity with sterile technique in specialized procedural environments
• Experience working alongside electrophysiologists or interventional cardiology teams
