Registered Nurse (RN) - Case Management

Lactation Consultant

Schedule: Days; 8 hours, Monday through Friday

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Must be licensed in Massachusetts
• 1+ years of experience as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant
• A minimum of 2500 hours as a breastfeeding consultant
• Experience with inpatient lactation programs
• Outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, consultations, and/or teaching experience
• Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred
• Certification must be in hand at profile upload

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide expert assessment, treatment, consultation, planning, and leadership oversight for optimal lactation management in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Formulate interdisciplinary plans of care for patients with advanced lactation support needs, communicating effectively with the care team regarding goals and plans.

Compliance / Notes:

• All travelers must have voicemail set up on their phones.
• Temporary Nursing Service Agency License must be included with submissions.
• Requested time off must be noted and verified at upload (no more than 5 days accepted).
• All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
