Title: Technical Product manager
Location: Hybrid, Riverwoods IL
Duration: 6+ months

Required Skills & Qualifications

Applicants must be able to work directly on W2
Experience with observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar) - Minimum 7 years required
Proficiency in JIRA for requirement management and tracking required
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) - Minimum 7 years required
Prior experience with the financial services industry is a must for this position
Education Level - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is mandatory

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience working on integration projects, mergers, or platform consolidations
Engineering degree
Experience in Agile practices and risk management

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Act as a product owner for observability-related initiatives, focusing on integration of monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms
Capture and translate business and technical requirements into user stories, epics, and initiatives in JIRA
Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams
Drive projects through the full SDLC with a focus on quality, detail, and risk awareness
Collaborate with development, product, and platform engineering teams to deliver integration outcomes
Provide oversight of project lifecycle management including planning, tracking, execution, and risk/issue management
Contribute to risk mitigation efforts, especially in coordination with cybersecurity teams
