Accounting Clerk

Connect Search is partnering with a growing organization to identify an Accounting Clerk to join their team near Beaumont, Texas.This is a contract to hire opportunity that will be working 100% onsite. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with numbers and data. This position will primarily support the accounting team with data entry, invoice processing, coding, and entering financial information into the company’s accounting system. Responsibilities Accurately enter accounting and financial data into the company’s system Assist with coding and entering invoices for processing Review invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy Perform high-volume data entry while maintaining attention to detail Assist with accounts payable and general accounting functions as needed Maintain organized electronic and paper records Communicate with internal departments regarding invoice or coding questions Assist the accounting team with various administrative and accounting-related tasks Qualifications Recent Graduates are encouraged to apply! 1+ years of experience in Accounting or Administrative Accounting coursework, degree, or related education is a plus Strong data entry and computer skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working with numbers and financial information Ability to learn new accounting software and systems quickly Strong organizational and communication skills Dependable, professional, and eager to learn Why This Opportunity?
