Step into a rewarding contract opportunity near Boston, MA, delivering impactful speech-language services to young learners in a vibrant PreK setting. As a dedicated professional, you’ll support students’ communication development and collaborate with a compassionate educational team through the 2026–2027 school year (ending June 2027). You’ll enjoy both meaningful work and the stability of a long-term assignment.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Massachusetts (MA)
- Current DESE certification (active status required)
- CFY and CCC considered—supervision and mentorship available
- Demonstrated expertise with pediatric populations, ideally in school-based settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct services to PreK students, utilizing evidence-based interventions
- Support classroom staff with strategies to facilitate communication in daily activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reporting
- Attend IEP meetings, collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in professional development and mentorship as appropriate
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all professional matters
