Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving elementary-aged students in a dynamic educational setting near Boston, MA. This role is ideal for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists who thrive in school environments and are ready to make an impact supporting students in grades K-5. The assignment runs for one month, with potential for extension based on staffing needs. You'll work closely with a caseload of approximately 30 students, collaborating with educators and families to create meaningful change.
Your expertise will support students’ communication and academic success during school hours, Monday through Friday, 8:05 am–3:05 pm. Whether you’re a seasoned SLP-CCC or a motivated Clinical Fellow (CFY), this is a fantastic setting to build your skills and contribute to a strong school community.
Qualifications:
• Active Massachusetts SLP license required
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings (K-5)
• SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow (CFY) credentials welcome
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and provide individualized speech and language therapy to K-5 students
• Develop and implement IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough student records and documentation
• Communicate progress and participate in relevant meetings
This position offers a weekly commitment of 35 hours across 5 days, providing a steady and predictable schedule. Compensation ranges from $50 to $55 per hour, paid weekly, reflecting the high value placed on your expertise.
