Role Description The Field Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lafayette, LA, responsible for overseeing pipeline and facilities construction projects from planning through completion. This role coordinates daily field operations, including scheduling crews, managing subcontractors, and ensuring work is performed safely, on time, and within budget. The Field Project Manager monitors project progress, prepares and reviews reports, and communicates regularly with internal teams, clients, and vendors to resolve issues and align expectations. They ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements, while supporting quality control, inspections, and documentation of project activities. The role also focuses on maintaining strong client relationships, addressing concerns promptly, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and field practices. Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, crew members, and stakeholders, ensuring clear expectations and timely updates. Demonstrated Supervisory Skills to lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage day-to-day site activities in a construction environment. Experience with Budgeting and Customer Satisfaction, including cost tracking, resource allocation, and delivering projects that meet scope, schedule, and quality requirements. Proven background in pipeline or industrial construction, with knowledge of field operations, construction methods, and onshore pipeline facility work. Commitment to safety, including familiarity with OSHA standards, industry safety practices, and incident reporting procedures. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple projects or tasks simultaneously. Ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions and terrain, and to travel to project locations as required.
