Weekday Fin Tube Machine Operator

Job Details: Level: Experienced Location: Port - Catoosa, OK 74015 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School/GED Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Manufacturing Essential Functions Individually operate the McElroy 6S finning machine Understand the difference and be able to fabricate various wrap on and embedded finned tubes Construct fin tubes by reading blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data Determine tooling requirements, set up procedures, control settings, finning methods and sequences necessary to properly run the machine (examples include regulating speed, feed, and coolant flow, observing / listening to machine operation to detect malfunctions) Measure parts using different measuring tools (tape measure, dial calipers, dial indicators, micrometers) Operate overhead cranes on daily basis to load machine Occasionally operate forklifts Occasionally assist in loading and unloading trucks by way of forklift and overhead crane Understand and meet production quotas Clean and maintain machines at end of shift and report problems to management Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent required 2 years of McElroy finning machine experience highly preferred Ability to read prints for both required specifications as well as dimensions Self‑motivated and highly productive; requires moderate supervision and can efficiently execute a plan to make jobs happen on time within the hours given Consistently maintain less than a 1% finned tube failure rate Punctual and dependent with a willingness to work hours outside of a standard schedule when required to achieve a task or complete a project Team player and company‑oriented individual who takes pride in their work Highly safety‑oriented individual Physical Requirements Must be able to safely lift fifty pounds, sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, etc. Ability to work in a shop environment in all seasons Work area not climate controlled; may experience extreme heat/cold and high noise levels #J-18808-Ljbffr
