Clinical Medical Assistant

Job Description Job Description Specialty Medical Office is in search of a full-time RMA/CMA to help assist with day to day functions of our medical practice.
Qualifications and Skills
 High school diploma or GED required.
 Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant.
 Basic computer skills
 Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification needed.
 EMR experience a plus

Clinical Functions:
 Prepare exam and treatment rooms.
 Prepare patients for examination and treatment by recording patient history and vital signs.
 Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for exam rooms
 Schedule patients for specialized tests and follow up appointments.
 Maintain patient medical records and other information including entry of data into EMR.
 Provide phone assessment of patient to provide appropriate clinical treatment.
 Work with a variety of personnel and departments to ensure smooth clinic operations.
 Perform other duties as assigned.
