In this role, you will support multiple programs within the division, each contributing to missions of national importance. You will lead a high-performing team of Subcontracts Administrators, driving excellence in supplier performance, compliance, and program execution across a diverse portfolio.You will manage a team of approximately six (6) to eight (8) Subcontracts Specialists/Administrators (various levels) responsible for complex, high-dollar subcontracts across multiple suppliers and program efforts. This position combines hands-on leadership, strategic sourcing, and cross-functional integration to ensure cost, schedule, and technical objectives are achieved. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. You’ll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Subcontracts Management, Procurement, Program Management, or Contracts Management OR a Master’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience; Four additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a buyer, subcontract manager, or Warranted DoD Contracting Officer.Working knowledge of cost reimbursement, Time & Materials, and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) subcontracting.Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry.Working knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise procurement/ERP systems.Successful experience negotiating terms and conditions, cost, schedule, and scope with suppliers.Ability and willingness to travel as required up to 25% of the timeAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship is required; clearance not required to start).These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Demonstrated subject matter expertise in FAR/DFARS and proven experience managing complex subcontracts from solicitation through closeout (including high-dollar efforts).Master’s degree in Business Administration, Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.Active DoD Secret or higher clearance.Internal Northrop Grumman Subcontracts or Supply Chain experience with deep understanding of corporate procedures and command media.Experience with strategic deterrent, missile, or other major modernization/sustainment programs.Proven expertise in negotiating complex, long-term agreements and managing multiple contract types (FFP, CP, T&M) for large, integrated efforts.Demonstrated ability to coordinate across large, multi-program portfolios to drive best-value subcontracting solutions and superior supplier performance.Minimum of 3 years manager-level experience leading a multi-level team in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.Primary Level Salary Range: $151,500.00 - $227,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
