Pediatric Neuroradiologist Opportunity

Location: Phoenix, Arizona | Type: Full-Time | Department: Radiology

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Pediatric Neuroradiologist to become part of one of the largest and most intricate pediatric health systems in the nation. This position offers the possibility of focusing entirely on pediatric neuroradiology, along with a flexible hybrid schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance.

• Expanding and Well-Equipped Department: Join a team of 29 radiologists specializing in Neuro, Body, Interventional Radiology, and Emergency sections, supported by a full-time PhD Imaging Scientist and academic connections to a leading neurological institute.
• Opportunity for Growth: As we expand our facilities and services across the region, the Department of Radiology is also increasing its faculty in various subspecialties.

The Radiology Department comprises 29 radiologists, including 8 in Neuro, 14 in Body, 4 in Interventional Radiology, and 3 in Emergency. The Emergency Radiology section handles overnight image interpretation and consultations. All radiologists benefit from full home PACS workstations, and a hybrid onsite/remote schedule is standard. Dedicated pediatric anesthesiologists are available for anesthesia services as required.

The Pediatric Neuroradiology division is committed to a focused, 100% subspecialty practice that covers the entire spectrum of pediatric neuroimaging. We encourage applications from candidates with fellowship training in Neuroradiology or Pediatric Radiology, particularly those with subspecialty expertise in Pediatric Neuroradiology, including current fellows. Faculty members in Neuroradiology also hold academic positions in the Department of Neuroradiology at a prominent neurological institute.

• M.D. or D.O. (or equivalent), board-certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Completion of an ACGME Fellowship in Neuroradiology, or Pediatric Radiology with subspecialty expertise in Pediatric Neuroradiology
• ABR Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Pediatric Radiology or Neuroradiology, or eligibility for it
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Arizona

Our Radiology faculty hold academic appointments with several medical schools, including the University of Arizona College of Medicine (Phoenix), Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine (Scottsdale), and Creighton University School of Medicine (Phoenix). The department actively engages in teaching and research, offering:

• 3 ACGME-accredited Pediatric Radiology fellowship positions
• Advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Neuroradiology and Pediatric Interventional Radiology
• Involvement of residents, fellows, and medical students from affiliated academic institutions
• A full-time PhD Imaging Scientist supporting a robust clinical and translational research program

The Phoenix Metro Area is among the largest and fastest-growing regions in the United States, and we are expanding to keep pace. A new pediatric hospital, featuring 60 NICU beds, 6 operating rooms, and a 24-room Emergency Department, is set to open in February 2027. To support this growth, we are looking to recruit several additional pediatric radiologists across various sections, providing a unique chance to help shape a developing subspecialty practice in a region celebrated for its sunny climate and high quality of life.
