Requirements
1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
6 months of flatbed experience
No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Benefits

$5,000 sign-on bonus
CPM $0.70 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

Load Pay
Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
Orientation Pay: $150

Dispatch nationwide flatbed freight from Fairfield, CT with HMD Trucking’s driver-first approach.

Daily Tasks:

Load, secure, and tarp a variety of shipments
Conduct equipment inspections
Accurately log mileage and delivery details

Driver Benefits:

Base pay of $0.70/mile plus $0.10 CPM bonus for safety/productivity
$5,000 sign-on bonus
500+ modern trucks equipped with APUs and sleeper cabs

Receive consistent home time, comprehensive benefits, and in-house maintenance support. Applicants must hold a Class A CDL and have at least 12 months of OTR flatbed experience.
