OTR Flatbed Company driver (W-2) Job in Bridgeport, CT by HMD Trucking

Requirements - 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- 6 months of flatbed experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
Vacancy description
Embark on OTR flatbed runs from Bridgeport, CT with HMD Trucking, using our top-spec trucks for nationwide delivery.
Your Role:
- Operate flatbeds featuring sleeper cabs, APUs, inverters, and rider seats
- Secure diverse freight loads with tarps and straps
- Maintain logs and perform inspections
Compensation & Perks:
- $0.70/mile base plus $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- $5,000 sign-on bonus and tarping pay
- Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k), and scheduled home time
Class A CDL and 12+ months OTR flatbed experience required.
