This position is focused primarily on conducting psychoeducational evaluations and supporting special education eligibility processes for students across the district. This is an excellent opportunity for a school psychologist who enjoys assessment work and is looking for a part-time, evaluation-focused caseload in a flexible remote setting. Location: Fully Remote – Colorado School District School Year: 2026–2027 Primary Responsibilities: Evaluations and eligibility support Estimated Workload: Approximately 50 evaluations during the school year Flexible scheduling available in collaboration with district teams and assessment timelines Opportunity to spread evaluations throughout the school year based on district needs and your availability Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services. Complete cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive assessments as appropriate. Prepare clear, compliant evaluation reports and documentation. Participate in virtual eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings. Collaborate with district staff, special education teams, and families to support student needs and educational planning. Ensure evaluations and reports comply with IDEA, Colorado Department of Education requirements, and district timelines Maintain accurate records and documentation in district-approved systems. Requirements Required Qualifications Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist Authorization required prior to start date or willingness to obtain Colorado licensure prior to beginning services. Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in K–12 school settings. Strong report writing and case management skills. Ability to independently manage assessment timelines and deadlines in a remote environment. Reliable high-speed internet and appropriate technology for virtual service delivery. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience providing virtual or hybrid school psychology services. Familiarity with Colorado special education regulations and eligibility criteria.
