This role identifies opportunities to improve customer growth, banker effectiveness, branch productivity, and network performance while translating complex analytics into clear, actionable business recommendations.Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:Conduct advanced analysis on branch performance and banker productivityBuild and optimize banker and branch-level KPIs, to evaluate performance and activity trends, and identify gaps and opportunitiesIdentify drivers of sales, customer engagement, retention, and operational efficiencyPartner with branch stakeholders, finance, and product teams to execute on strategyInfluence cross-functional stakeholders and partnersLead moderately complex analytics initiatives independently, using complex large structured and unstructured data sets from various sourcesDesign experiments and measurement frameworks to quantify business outcomes.Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations, and communicate effectively through compelling executive-level storytelling, high-quality presentations, data visualizations, and impactful dashboardsDefine analytical approaches rather than only executing themBalance business priorities, statistical rigor, and practical implementationGuide analytic best practices across the teamRequired Qualifications: 5+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationMaster's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer scienceDesired Qualifications:Experience applying quantitative and analytical techniques to identify trends, solve business problems, and inform decision-makingProficiency in SQL, SAS, Python; moderate statistical modeling is a plusWorking knowledge of data visualization tools, preferably Power BI or TableauExperience with business performance analytics and KPI development.Financial services, retail/branch banking, or customer analytics experienceAbility to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and build productive working relationships across business and technical teamsJob Expectations:Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
