Data Engineer

Aureon Consulting is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Engineer (Systems Analyst) to design and build scalable data and integration solutions that support enterprise analytics and business operations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, and dbt. Build and optimize data transformations, integrations, and orchestration workflows. Develop integrations using APIs, messaging platforms, and cloud technologies. Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions. Implement data modeling, governance, quality controls, and best practices. Monitor and improve data pipeline performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Troubleshoot complex data issues and recommend effective solutions. Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance data delivery and integration capabilities. Required Qualifications Strong experience with Snowflake, SQL, and dbt. Experience building enterprise-scale data pipelines and integrations. Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, data warehousing, and data lakes. Strong knowledge of data modeling, governance, and data quality. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Snowflake certification(s). Experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 8+ years of data engineering, systems analysis, or software development experience.
