VacancyTitle: Health and Safety Advisor

To provide support to the Director of Health and Safety in the delivery of Health and Safety Management Systems and processes across the group to help ensure a culture of best practice health and safety across the business and property portfolio, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory regime. Responsibilities Contribute to the delivery of safety and health management and safety culture Provide health and safety advice and guidance to colleagues and contribute to problem solving Undertake health and safety inspections and audits of Grainger’s sites Coordinate health and safety internal audit and risk management processes Provide face to face DSE assessments and follow up actions Creating Risk and Control Matrices (RACMs) and process maps where required Manage the day to day administration of the health and safety management systems, inbox, leading on improvement projects for systems and processes Skills & Experience required Previous experience in a similar role. Demonstrable knowledge, understanding and experience of using health, safety management systems Excellent knowledge of managing spreadsheets, databases and managing data and producing reports Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Excellent written and oral communication skills for internal and external stakeholders at all levels Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality Benefits Pension Health Cash Plan Travel Insurance Private Medical #J-18808-Ljbffr
