Project Manager

Project Manager – Engineer Principal $ 88,030 - $134,049 / annually Rochester or Owatonna, MN The purpose of this position is to provide project management and direction from inception to completion of both internal and consultant projects, including Alternative Delivery and other complex projects. To be the primary contact in concert with the Project Management Administrative Engineer and Assistant District Engineer for other public agencies, special interest groups and the public regarding project activities. Establish effective long-term relationships with local units of government and other stakeholders. Provide overall direction and leadership to both internal and consultant technical project teams in the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques in the management of project activities for minor, moderate and major scale projects to meet the project requirements. Ensure consistency with MnDOT strategy, commitments and goals; and to ensure proper program execution and compliance with MnDOT, state and federal procedures, practices, regulations, and standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Licensure as a professional engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design (AELSLAGID).
