Engineer, Electrical

Primary Purpose of Position Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under direct supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements. Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision. Support engineering work functions. Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department. Salary Range Entry-Level: $87,000 Mid-Level: $92,700 - $114,000 Senior Level: $122,400 - $154,000 Minimum Qualifications Entry Level – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear). Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties. Mid Level – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience. Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties. Senior Level – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience. Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties. Preferred Qualifications Electrical Engineering background highly preferred. Engineer in training certification.
