Learn more about our brands.We're Looking For A: Senior AccountantLocation: Hybrid (Woodland Hills, CA)What You'll Be Doing: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. This role will have a strong focus on fixed assets, royalties and commissions, prepaid expenses, cash and credit card activity, and operating expenses including computer and software and office supplies. You will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial reporting, efficient month-end close, and scalable accounting operations that support the Company's growth and long-term goals. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about building strong, efficient, and compliant accounting practices.Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, with a focus on prepaid expenses, fixed assets, royalties, treasury activity and operating expensesProduce accurate, timely and compliant results within a 5-business day month-end closeEnsure the integrity of the fixed asset module by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions in accordance with the company's asset capitalization policiesAnalyze royalty and promotional service agreements and determine appropriate accounting treatment and maintain supporting documentationEnsure all royalty and promotional service agreements are paid on timely basis each monthSupport the prepaid expense responsibilities using the NetSuite prepaid amortization engineRecord all cash and credit card activity on a weekly basisOn a monthly basis, reconcile fixed assets, prepaid expenses, royalties and operating expense accrualsCollaborate cross-functionally with Brand Management, Operations, IT, and other teams to support product launches, asset purchases and system updatesIdentify inefficiencies in accounting processes and lead initiatives to automate, streamline and standardize proceduresDevelop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting workflowsAssist with external audits, including preparation of workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentationQualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.): Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and proactive with problem-solving mindsetAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams3+ years of general ledger operations and month-end close experienceStrong working knowledge of NetSuite or other large ERP systemAdvanced Excel knowledgeBachelors Degree or Equivalent3+ years of general ledger operations and month-end close experienceStrong working knowledge of NetSuite or other large ERP systemProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulasBachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)Experience managing a fixed asset module and understanding of the prepaid amortization schedules (preferred)Exposure to accounts payable automation software, preferably Tipalti (preferred)Experience with Blackline close automation (preferred)Understanding a multi-entity accounting and reporting organizational structure (preferred)Golden Perks & Benefits:Comprehensive Healthcare Coverage – We cover 100% of premiums for employee-only medical, dental, and vision plans.Bonus Opportunities – Earn more with both annual and monthly bonus programs tied to performance.Investing in Your Future – We match up to 3.5% of your 401(k) contributions and offer a company-sponsored Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), helping your retirement savings grow alongside the company.
